The Most Powerful Affirmation

Have you used affirmations in the past and gotten little results from them? The problem with traditional affirmations is that they usually place the emphasis on the WORDS. But here's a little secret: the words don't matter a bit when placing your order with the universe.

What does matter? The FEELINGS you bring up as you say the words.

Remember that the law of attraction works according to your thoughts, beliefs and emotions. You can recite "I am wealthy" all day long for years - but if you don't feel wealthy and you don't really believe you are wealthy, guess what will happen? Nothing!

Today I'd like to introduce you to a different kind of affirmation, and I dare say it is the THE most powerful type of affirmation you could ever do. It works well, and it works FAST.

I call it a "feeling affirmation," and funnily enough you don't even have to use words at all. It's all about the feelings you communicate to the universe.

Let's walk through an example so you can see how it's done:

Imagine that your biggest challenge right now is money. You've been reciting affirmations like these: "I always have plenty of money. I am open to receiving great abundance now..." etc. But nothing is changing.

To do a "feeling affirmation" you would simply set aside 5 or 10 minutes a day, find a quiet place to be alone and then you would focus on FEELING the essence of already having what you want. In this example, it's money.

What would it feel like to have the money you need? Would you feel happy, relieved, peaceful, secure? Focus on feeling that way right NOW. Pretend you've got plenty of money in the bank, or the level of income you want. Pretend you're driving a new car instead of one that is held together with masking tape and a prayer. (Yes, I've had one of those too!)

Don't obsess over the details of how your desire is manifested. Don't think about how the money will come, how the income will come, how the car will come. Don't worry about when it will happen, either.

Rather than focusing on the specifics, focus ONLY on the ESSENCE of having what you want. This may feel unnatural to you at first, because we are used to being extremely specific with affirmations. But with these feeling affirmations, you don't need to focus on the specifics. In fact, it works much better if you don't.

Get clear on the essence of what you want, and focus on having that. That's it!

When you do this, you create literally endless possibilities for the universe to answer your request. Instead of getting stuck on one or two possibilities, you are open to any and all of them - including those that are much better than anything you could have imagined.

Be careful not to "un-do" your affirmations!

In addition, be sure not to send conflicting signals to the universe by emitting thoughts and feelings that will block the arrival of what you want. Using the same example from above, be sure you don't then keep worrying about money or affirming that you don't have enough money. Remember that you just sent a powerful, confident message to the universe that you already have the money you want - and the universe is busily making sure that your physical reality reflects it! In other words, it is arranging things so that more money will flow into your life.

But if you start doubting and complaining that you don't have enough money, you will end up blocking it.

Even if you can't maintain a high level of confidence and belief that you already have plenty of money, at least try to keep a neutral mindset. Whenever doubts or worries come up in your mind, firmly push them away. Refuse to focus on them. That practice alone can bring great changes, even before your feeling affirmations begin to work.

How often should you do these feeling affirmations?

I would recommend daily, but if you have to skip a day or two it's not a big deal. Doing these almost daily is still effective. Even better, fit this practice right into your daily life and you'll have no trouble keeping up with it! Do it first thing in the morning when you wake up, or during the last few minutes before you go to sleep. Or do it on your lunch hour.

And you don't have to spend tons of time on this; just a few minutes a day can trigger great changes. More than anything, QUALITY is much more important than quantity. The more powerful emotions you can lend to the process the more quickly you'll usually see results.

The greatest thing about this type of affirmation practice is that it's virtually EFFORTLESS.

Just set aside a few minutes a day to sink into this blissful state of mind and emotion - and watch as the universe shifts and molds your life into one miracle after another. Try it and see for yourself; it has brought truly amazing changes into my own life.
